  • I dabble in photography when I have time, which isn't as often as I'd like, so here is a link to my Flickr pages which include some weather related  photos.     4. 2010 contained some cold spells in January and later December. Here are some plots of temperature versus max wind speed for 8th January 2010 and temperature plots for December 2010.

    6. The area often experiences large diurnal ranges, high teens and low 20's are not uncommon. Largest diurnal range recorded so far is 24.9C on 24th May 2010. Max 29.7C after a min of 4.8C.
